## How to Use This Rule Set in UpSheets

1. Copy the **Fast Food Award** rule set from the Award Library and select the **Level 2/3** variant during review.
2. Assign the correct classification and employment type to each employee using this variant.
3. Simulate representative shifts, then publish and assign the rule set to affected employees.

## Assumptions and Limitations

### Assumptions

* Saturday and Sunday work uses clause 21 all-day ordinary penalties (Saturday 125% for all levels; Sunday 125% Level 1 / 150% Levels 2 and 3).
* Public holidays use clause 21 / 27.3 at 225%.
* Daily overtime uses the clause 13.5 11-hour ordinary cap with clause 20.6 Mon-Sat first 2 hours at 150% then 200%, Sunday overtime at 200%, and public holiday overtime at 250%.
* Public holiday weekly OT stays at 250%.
* CASUAL base rates already include the 25% loading.
* Because MULTIPLE lines apply against that loaded casual base, casual multiples are the award percentage of the minimum hourly rate divided by 1.25 (for example evening 135%/125%=1.08 and 140%/125%=1.12, Saturday/Sunday Level 1 150%/125%=1.2, Sunday Levels 2/3 175%/125%=1.4, PH 250%/125%=2.0, OT first 2 hours 175%/125%=1.4, OT after / Sunday OT 225%/125%=1.8, PH OT 275%/125%=2.2).
* The award has no minimum break-between-shifts GAP obligation beyond meal/rest breaks under clause 14.
