Open the Invoices page

You can open your invoices in either of these ways:
  1. Select Invoices from the menu.
  2. Select Account from the menu, then click View Invoices.
The invoices page shows your current invoice at the top of the list, followed by older invoices. For each invoice you can see:
  • Invoice Date: When the invoice was created.
  • Number: The invoice number from your billing provider.
  • Total: The full invoice amount.
  • Paid: How much has already been paid.
  • Balance: How much is still due.
  • Currency: The invoice currency.
  • Status: The current invoice status.
  • Action: A link to open the hosted invoice page to view, download, or pay.

Pay an invoice

Invoices are normally paid automatically using your saved payment method. If an invoice is still open, you can also pay it manually by opening the Invoices page and selecting View / Download on that invoice. This opens the secure hosted invoice page in a new tab. From there you can:
  • pay the invoice using the payment options shown
  • download the invoice PDF
  • download a receipt after payment, if one is available
The payment step happens on the hosted invoice page, not inside UpSheets.

Refresh the status manually

If you have paid an invoice but the status has not updated yet, open Invoices and click Refresh Invoices. After the refresh:
  • if the invoice is still open, UpSheets shows a warning message to confirm the check ran and that open invoices are still due
  • if the invoice has been paid, UpSheets updates the organisation session and shows a success message with Invoice status updated
If you paid the invoice a moment ago, wait a few seconds and then click Refresh Invoices. It can take a short time for the status to update.

If the status still does not update

If the invoice still appears as open after you have paid it:
  1. Confirm the payment completed on the hosted invoice page.
  2. Return to Invoices and click Refresh Invoices again.
  3. Open Account again to load the latest organisation status.
If UpSheets cannot refresh the organisation session, you may see a message asking you to select your organisation and try again. In that case, reselect the organisation, then return to Invoices and refresh again.

Receive invoices by email

Invoices can also be sent automatically when they are created. Select SettingsProfile and use the Invoices section (available when your subscription is billed through UpSheets). Add an email address to Email New Invoices to to receive a copy when a new invoice is created.
The invoice email address can be different from the email address you use to sign in to UpSheets.
In the same Invoices section you can add an optional Business name and Tax ID so they appear on invoices for your subscription. Changes apply to new invoices after you save; older invoices are not changed.
For whether UpSheets adds GST or VAT to your subscription charges by region, see Pricing overview – Sales tax.
Some billing account screens only show full invoice details after a new invoice is created. If you have just saved your business name or tax details, check the next invoice or PDF to confirm they look correct.
