Assumptions and Limitations

Assumptions

  • Sunday ordinary work uses clause 20.6 at 150% (casual loaded-base multiple 175%/125%=1.4).
  • Public holidays use 250% (casual 275%/125%=2.2).
  • Default daily ordinary caps are clause 13.2 eight hours for full-time/part-time and clause 11.3 ten hours for casuals; agreements to average up to 10 or 12 ordinary hours a day are not auto-detected.
  • Daily overtime is first 3 hours then double time against those caps (casual OT multiples 150%/125%=1.2 and 200%/125%=1.6).
  • Weekly overtime uses the same first-3 / after-3 tiers after 38 hours.
  • Public holiday daily and weekly overtime stay at the PH multiple with start_hour matching the daily cap (8 FT/PT, 10 casual) or 38 weekly.
  • Clause 20.4 less than 10 consecutive hours between duties is a single GAP rule at flat 200% (casual 200%/125%=1.6), not tiered relevant OT.
  • Sunday and public holiday minimum payments are 4 hours (clause 20.6(c) / PH).
  • Casual minimum engagement of 3 hours (clause 11.6) is day-scoped ME on Monday to Saturday at ordinary; Sunday/PH casual 3-hour minima are satisfied by the 4-hour Sun/PH ME lines.
  • Part-time minimum 3 hours (clause 10.5) is ME PART_TIME Monday to Saturday at ordinary.
  • Exhibition employees use EVERY ordinary BASE with no Sunday penalty, public holiday 200% (casual 200%/125%=1.6), daily OT after 12 hours at 200% (casual 1.6), and FT/PT weekly OT after 56 hours at 200%; casual exhibition has no weekly OT in MAPD.
  • Exhibition minimum engagement is 4 hours per shift (clause 13.6) at ordinary, with PH ME at the PH multiple.
  • Exhibition excludes GAP and Sunday penalty under clause 20.7(a).
  • All 21 MAPD wage/expense allowances are MANUAL in every variant with unique hourly/weekly rate_keys.
