Assumptions and Limitations
Assumptions
- Day workers use clause 13.3 ordinary spread of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday with an 8-hour daily ordinary cap under clause 13.7.
- Day workers use clause 20.3(a) four-hour minimum payments on Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday overtime.
- Non-continuous shiftworkers use clause 13.13 afternoon/night penalties at 115%, non-successive shift tiers at 150%/200%, and clause 13.16 overtime.
- Continuous shiftworkers use flat 200% overtime under clause 13.16(a)(i) and clause 13.15(a) public holiday substitution at 200%.
- Permanent night shiftworkers apply clause 13.13(d) at 130% on night windows.
- CASUAL base rates already include the 25% loading.
- Day-worker and most overtime/public-holiday MULTIPLE lines reuse full-time percentages because MAPD publishes those casual rates multiplicatively (for example PH 312.5% = 250% × 1.25).
- Afternoon/night and permanent-night shift penalties are additive in MAPD (140% / 155% of minimum), so casual-scoped MULTIPLE lines use 1.12 and 1.24 against the loaded casual base.
