Assumptions and Limitations

Assumptions

  • Default day-worker ordinary hours follow clause 15.1 Table 2: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a 9-hour daily ordinary cap (clause 15.4) and 38 ordinary hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm is BASE.
  • Clause 22 Table 12 ordinary penalties apply inside the span: Monday to Friday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 125%, Saturday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm at 125%, Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at 150%, and public holiday ordinary hours at 225% using the weekday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm span.
  • Hours outside the Table 2 span are overtime under clause 21.2(a): Monday to Saturday first 3 hours at 150% then 200%, Sunday all at 200%, and public holidays at 250%.
  • Monday to Friday after 9:00 pm is a 3-hour window, so that band is first-3 overtime only; hours after midnight are the next day’s pre-spread overtime.
  • Daily overtime after 9 hours uses the same Table 11 tiers.
  • Weekly overtime after 38 hours uses Monday to Saturday first 3 / after 3, Sunday 200%, and public holiday 250%.
  • CASUAL base rates already include the 25% loading.
  • Table 11 and Table 12 casual percentages are inclusive of that loading, so casual MULTIPLE lines are those percentages divided by 1.25 (for example evening and Saturday 150%/125%=1.2, Sunday ordinary 175%/125%=1.4, public holiday ordinary 250%/125%=2.0, OT first 3 hours 175%/125%=1.4, OT after / Sunday OT 225%/125%=1.8, PH OT 275%/125%=2.2).
  • Clause 16.6 requires 12 consecutive hours between work periods at 200% of the minimum hourly rate; casual GAP uses 200%/125%=1.6 against the loaded casual base.
  • Baking Production uses clause 25.2 START_ONLY early-morning 112.5% (2:00 am to before 6:00 am) and night 130% (midnight to before 2:00 am) instead of weekday shiftwork, with the same weekend, public holiday, daily, weekly, ME, and GAP structure.
  • All 10 operative MAPD allowances are modelled as MANUAL rate keys.
