Assumptions and Limitations
Assumptions
- Day workers use clause 20 Monday to Friday ordinary hours inside 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the minimum hourly rate, with clause 20 outside-span penalties at 120% before 7:00 am and after 7:00 pm.
- Saturday and Sunday ordinary-day work uses clause 20 all-day penalties at 120% and 150%.
- Public holidays use clause 20 at 250%.
- Overtime under clause 19.1 is 150% for the first 3 hours and 200% after 3 hours for time beyond the clause 13.5 10-hour daily ordinary cap or beyond an average of 38 hours per week; weekly overtime uses EVERY so Sunday hours count toward and can attract weekly OT, with PH weekly OT at higher priority on public holidays.
- Casual loading is not paid on overtime (clause 11.1(b)), so casual OT multiples are 150%/125%=1.2 and 200%/125%=1.6 against the loaded casual base.
- Casual outside-span, Saturday, and Sunday multiples are 145%/125%=1.16 and 175%/125%=1.4.
- Casual public holiday remains 250% of the minimum hourly rate in MAPD (250%/125%=2.0), including casual PH daily and weekly OT.
- The award has no shiftwork penalty schedule and no minimum break-between-shifts GAP obligation beyond meal breaks under clause 14.
