Assumptions and Limitations
Assumptions
- Day workers use clause 15.2(c) ordinary spread of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday with an 8-hour daily ordinary cap.
- Saturday and Sunday are outside ordinary hours.
- PMS overtime follows Schedule C / MAPD Monday-to-Saturday tiers (150% first 2 hours; 200% after 2 hours, after 12:00 pm Saturday, and for work commenced after midnight before ordinary hours), Sunday 200%, and public holiday 250%.
- Sprinkler overtime follows Schedule D / MAPD Monday-to-Friday 150%/200% tiers with flat 200% Saturday and Sunday overtime.
- Regular shiftworkers use clause 23.1(a) 133% Monday to Friday when 5 or more consecutive shifts are worked with at least 48 hours notice; short-notice shiftworkers use clause 23.1(b) 150%/200% Monday to Friday tiers.
- Minimum payments follow clauses 12.2 and 22.1(b)-(c): casual Monday to Friday 3 hours, Saturday 3 hours, Sunday and public holiday 4 hours, with top-up multiples aligned to the applicable day rate (PMS Saturday ME is tiered 150%/200%).
- CASUAL base rates include the 25% loading.
- Casual MULTIPLE lines are scoped to CASUAL and use MAPD casual percentages of the unloaded minimum divided by 1.25 (175%->1.4, 225%->1.8, 275%->2.2, shift 158%->1.264).
- FULL_TIME/PART_TIME multiples use the unloaded award percentages.
- Tradesperson PMS rates use the registered State-legislation MAPD ordinary hourly table.
- AT1 (Advanced tradesperson Level 1) uses Schedule D ordinary hourly $36.40 because MAPD ordinary-hourly pay-rates omit that classification while Schedule D publishes it.
Not Supported by This Rule Set
- Apprentice, trainee, and supported wage classifications
- Automatic detection of consecutive-shift or 48-hour-notice eligibility

- Fire sprinkler on-call stand-by automation
- Release-and-pay ordinary time during enforced rest, and 20-hour continuous work / 12-hour break
