Import data from Connecteam
UpSheets can import data directly from Connecteam into Xero Payroll.Enable the Connecteam integration
Before importing your Connecteam data and uploading it to Xero, enable the Connecteam integration.Import data from Connecteam
Once the integration is enabled, the Import Files screen shows a Connecteam data source. When you select it, your active Time Clock and From / To dates are shown.

Select the date range
Select the From and To dates you want to import. UpSheets imports all Connecteam time data in that range, including both the From and To dates.

Select transaction types
Select the transaction types and any other import options (or accept the defaults). Click Import Data to proceed.
You can import the data as Timesheets, Leave, Payslips or Projects. If you use start/end times in Connecteam, these can be used with Smart Formulas.
Projects imports always use hours rather than start and end times, because Xero Projects records time as a duration. Enable Start/End Times is ignored when you select Projects.

Map columns
Imported columns follow the Connecteam definition – select the columns that map to name, type, hours, date, description, and so on. See Validate options for field details. Click Validate to continue.Connecteam jobs are imported into a Type column. If a shift also has a sub-job selected in Connecteam, that sub-job name is imported into a Sub Type column.For a Projects import, map Type to Project and Sub Type to Task. For Timesheets, Leave or Payslips there is no matching payroll field, so leave Sub Type unmapped (or set it to Ignore).

Validate
UpSheets validates your data.

Upload
Click Upload to send your data to Xero Payroll.
