Connect TrackingTime to UpSheets

You can connect UpSheets directly to TrackingTime to import your data and upload it to Xero. This streamlines the process and removes the need to export and import CSV files.

Enabling the TrackingTime integration

TrackingTime data can be accessed by creating an App Password.

Create an App Password in TrackingTime

Register for TrackingTime if you have not already done so. After logging in, select Apps & Integrations from the bottom left menu and scroll down to the App Passwords section.

Add and copy the password

Click Add Password and name it UpSheets. Click the button to copy the password.
Your API key is made up of your TrackingTime email address and your password separated by a colon. For example, if your email is user@example.com and your generated password is P4ssw0rd, the API key will be user@example.com:P4ssw0rd

Enter API key in UpSheets

Select Integrations from the menu in UpSheets and click the TrackingTime tab. Enter the API key (email:password) and tab out of the field to confirm. If the API key is valid, the integration will show as enabled. The API key will be masked after entry for security reasons.
Once connected, you can import data from TrackingTime.
