Connect RotaCloud to UpSheets

You can connect UpSheets directly to RotaCloud to import attendance and leave data, then upload it to Xero. This streamlines the process and removes the need to export and import CSV files.

Enabling the RotaCloud integration

RotaCloud data can be accessed by creating an API key. After creating the key, you can enter it in UpSheets to connect the two systems.

Create an API key in RotaCloud

Register for RotaCloud if you have not already done so. After logging in, select the Settings gear icon from the top right menu and go to the API & Webhooks tab. Click API Keys +, enter your account details and click Create. Copy the API key for the next step.
Keep your API key secret just as you would a password.

Enter API key in UpSheets

Select Integrations from the menu in UpSheets and click the RotaCloud tab. Enter the API key. The API key will be masked for security reasons.
Once connected, the integration will become enabled. You can then import data from RotaCloud.
